Interests

  • Internet of Things and Edge-Cloud Collaborative Computing Systems, especially design prototype of new systems to fulfil functional requirements of occuring applications, while ensuring some expected characteristics of the systems, such as scalability, flexibility, and reusability.
  • Humanized Computing Systems, especially human-centric sensing or object-centric sensing, through collecting, processing, analyzing the ambient signal, aiming to make detection of the activities of daily living more uninvasively.
  • Wireless Adhoc and Sensor Networks, especially protocol design and performance evaluation of wireless, adhoc and sensor networks, aiming to achieve resilience to dynamic communication environment, with energy constaint, via cross layer design and optimization.
  • Internet and High Performance Networks, especially through discrete event simulation and testbed experimentation, aiming to evaluate and improve performance of designed transport protocols and networked systems.
